[closed] FarCry 7.2.2 - "field.cfc" probably with bug

In SVN-Revision 12786 /core/trunk/packages/formtools/field.cfc was updated by Blair, but now when trying to insert a date to the date/time field via the jQuery calendar in events it results in: “The maximum length for this field is 6 characters.”

After going back to the prior “field.cfc” version everything works fine.

Thanks, that looks like a bug. It should only be applying precision as a max length constraint on string fields.

Fix is in the p720 branch, I’ll release a tagged version later today :smile:
